Sunday School

At Shotts EU Congregational Church we try to do more than just tell Bible stories, we endeavour to prepare the children for all the trials and temptations they will face when growing up.  We have lively Sunday School with children from 1 year up to 12 years.  The children are taught they are part of the Christian Church family and that whatever happens Jesus loves and cares for them.

In response to this, the children frequently demonstrate to us why they are such valued members of our church.  They take part in services - for example, in plays, action songs, bible readings, leading prayers and sharing with the adults what they have learned.
